did you try that advanced option and uncheck the search subfolders box?

Yeah, thats what I had found when Jamiko mentioned it.

Unfortunately, it seems to bring up crap it didnt normally.

 

strange that ive got all sorts of crap on my pc if i do that with search subfolders checked i get 1157 items including duplicates
yet since ive had that unchecked by default i only get 90 results which are only my photos and a couple of screenshots
