Saw them on an Animal Explorer show yesterday about unusual pairings.
My favorite on that show was a lioness watching out for a baby antelope( like) animal that she normally hunts.
Commentator said she had recently lost her own cub and thought the maternal instinct was in full operation yet.

 

I remember that hrlow, they were predicting they might both dye, The lioness was getting weak from no food and the baby antelope had no food either. Do you know how it turned out?

Speaking of friends.. this video always cheers me up when I've had a bad day. After being deployed to Iraq for 14 months, I can think of few better welcome home-greetings.
