Friends

Got some friends on vacation in Hawaii, they go down to the Duke Kahanamoku Statue which seems to be a very popular place, call us on the cell phone, stand there and wave at us. http://www.co.honolulu.hi.us/cameras/waikiki_beach/waikiki.htm

It is pretty interesting to watch sometimes. Some guy wearing a Speedo (didn't know they even made those anymore) has been hanging around bothering people. Hello ladie's..........

There were a couple, but the guy in the speedo ran them off.

 

He's awfully chatty I noticed, maybe he is the self-appointed spokesman for the statue.

actually it has been raining for a solid month and dams are breaking, streams are flooding, people are crashing, and houses are slipping. wai kiki beaches have been closed because of sewerage backups, we have had tornados, and even hail stones. but as a gneral rule.....yes, it is warmer here

 

That would be my luck if I came there on vacation, storms, floods and sewege backups.

Do you know that guy in the speedo, he's been loitering around the statue bothering women.

no. im on a differant island. but men in speedos that bother women are all over the US. i'm not sure most english men would be seen dead in them. (we still have english jerks though...just not in speedos lol)

well, whatever weather issues we were having, resolved themselves. we just spent the weekend touring the island and everywhere was just its usual stunning, awesome, perfect, wonderful self. spinner dolfins spun, turtles swam within inches of us, water was 75 degrees, breathtaking beauty.

 

Almost as good as Cairns. LOL. Bazza
