I have a Pentium III machine with Windows 98SE and 256MB SDRAM. When I try to install a new copy of Front Page 2002, I immediately receive the following message: "Another versioin of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel."

There is no version of Front Page showing in Add/Remove in Control Panel. I searched the registry and there is no sign of Front Page in it. I get this message each and every time I try to set up Front Page 2002.

To my knowledge, no version of Front Page has ever been installed on the Windows 98 computer. I do have Office XP installed on it.

I have searched and googled. Thus far I cannot find anything which specifically addresses this problem.

Any help you can provide will be much appreciated.

    Kind thanks.

Office XP has got front page with it. Insert the office XP cd & let it auto run. See if frontpage is installed already.
