FRST log file, help me create fixlist.txt to help my laptop booting again :(

    I need someone to help me create a fixlist.txt from the FRST log... My laptop has been down for days and i need it back up and running for the upcoming university examinations :(.

    I'd be very grateful and appreciative of anyone who can help me!!

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    I will give you a small fix to run but I'm not sure there is anything in here that will fix a bootup issue. What happen when you try to boot up? Have you tried safe boot mode too?


    Download this >> View attachment fixlist.txt


    Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
    • You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST.exe on your flash drive.
    Now reboot back into the System Recovery Options as you did previously.
    Run FRST and press the Fix button just once and wait.
    The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).
    Please attach this to your next message. (See how to attach)

    See if you can now boot into normal Windows. If not, you need to describe exactly what happens. Also try safe boot mode too.
