frwovoos.exe ? Is it legit?

I have been cleaning up a friend's computer and after reading everything on here and following the great advice, it seems to be working normally again! Sure took a lot of work--I'm just an average user. There are two files that hijackthis still returns that look suspicious to me, though. I can't find any information on them on the sites mentioned here or on google search. Any thoughts about whether it is ok to delete them?

02 - BHOhb C:\WINNT\system32\jc2_win.dll (file missing)
04 - HKLM\...\Run:[C:\WINNT\frwovoos.exe] C:\WINNT\frwovoos.exe

I would remove both of these entries. The first one for sure fix, the second one I've never heard of, but it doesnt look good. I would go ahead and fix both of them.

 

Thanks for your quick reply! Fixed both, rebooted, and everything seems to be working fine--so I guess they weren't needed by anything important. You & your fellow computer experts can't begin to realize what a beneficial service you provide to the rest of us. Thank you, all.

It has been a really long process for me to get the machine up and running again and makes me wonder why people would want to create this kind of frustration in other people's lives. It is really the most vulnerable people in society that they are attcking with all of these malicious programs, not some big corporation with a huge tech support staff. That should be obvious by all the frustrated computer users who are writing in to your forum as well as dozens of others. Just my 2 cents.
