FUBAR and in need of help!

My computer has a very thorough virus. Mcaffe will not open, nor will spybot. Google search redirects to random pages. Every 3 minutes I get a popup that looks very realistic saying a Trojan has been found and install this to fix it calling it malware protection with a windows logo. I tried a system restore and it won't even make it past the page after I choose rollback date. I tried a system recovery but it is just restarting windows. Also, it has turned off my moniters screen, luckily I have 2 hooked up, so I am not totally blind.
Also, due to past moving around of the computer and unrelated to the virus, mycd drive doesn't work. I do have a seperate desktop however that I can Download stuff on if I need to.

Also, during boot, the options flash so quickly I can't see which option let's me keep windows from booting.

Windows XP, legit, but the key was lost during moves.

Any reccomendations are helpful. I'm a bit at a loss. Also, I couldn't tell any obvious malware names under processes.

Oh, and I have read the read me first malware removal thread and am downloading the programs on my alt computer, but I would honestly be most happy just reformatting.
