Funky mouse operation

    I have been having problems clicking things normally. I have to click more than once most of the time on things which normally require only one click. I am also having trouble selecting text online. I click and drag and most of the time only random parts of the text will be selected. I have run housecall, avg, malwarebytes, spybot search & destroy with no issues in results. Could this be malware of some sort?

    It COULD be, but I very much doubt it, this sounds like what happens when my logitech mice decide to curl up and die. Are you able to use another mouse and see if that works okay?

    If you do want to rule out malware you would have to follow these procedures.

    Ty for responding Kestrel13. I am unable to try a different mouse at this point, but will try that once I get a chance to pick up a new one. In the meantime, I tried new batteries...to no avail. ~:(
    I will post again once I know if the new mouse works or not. ~:)
