FW Router Config

Ive just installed a Hi Speed 125Mbps Wireless G Cable & DSL Router F5D7231UK4 for a blind friend of mine and we had probs finding URL to port forward, but having said that we did get there eventually and lo and Behold on this paticular Router one can switch off the FW and use the software FW installed in the computer. I have a wired router does anyone know of the existence of a wired Router that can be configured the same (switching off the FW) ??
