   Just ran into a problem with AIM not connecting while the internet was fine with IE on 2 laptops. Both laptops use McAfee suite for security. When AIM started up to sign in automatically, a connection error was thrown on the AIM screen.
   Evidently a recent upgrade for AIM triggers McAfee to block it. Just need to go into Program settings in the Firewall tab and change access from Block to Full to re-enable connection.
