Howdy Folks, My First time posting here but have benifited immensly the last couple years from the info found here in this forum, Always the right downloads that I needed and the know how to use them. Have been saved from uncountable dilemas that I've put myself into, in my neverending class of "What Happens When I Push This Button 101". Thank You kindly for Everything.

I live in Arizona and found this in the newspaper the other day for those interested. And if you live in Az. and own any MS Software, then you are entitled to a partial refund, in the form of computer equipment and accessories ,for what is being alleged as Overcharging, price gouging, and monopolizing in the sales of software here in our state, by yours truly.

I guess they figured they needed and were entitled to more of our money here than in other states. If interested in receiving this refund or anyone want a good read then check it out, for sure. And thanks everyone here again for all of your unselfish help when it's needed. Here's the URL for this article:

    Settlement

If you, between January 12, 1996 and December 31, 2002, resided in Arizona and licensed certain Microsoft software, or a personal computer with certain Microsoft software installed on it for use in Arizona and not for resale, you may be eligible as a Class Member and entitled to benefits under the proposed class action settlement. To be a Class Member, a person or entity must have purchased in the United States a Microsoft Operating System and/or Microsoft Application for use in Arizona , between January 12, 1996 and December 31, 2002. Licenses for re-sale or re-licensing, and government entities, are not eligible for the Settlement. If you are a member of the class, you are entitled to receive Settlement Benefits.

Microsoft will provide half the value of the unclaimed Settlement Benefits to help Arizona's public and charter school districts - those with at least 50% of their students qualifying for the federal free and reduced-price school lunch programs. These Arizona public and charter school districts will receive vouchers to use on a wide variety of computer hardware, software and professional development services.
