G.T. in the hospital

Hey all, This is G.T.'s son. He wanted to let you all know he is in the hospital and could use your prayers and thoughts right now. He's been in since Tuesday 11-28-06...not sure when he'll be out yet. I'll do my best to keep you posted.

All of us here know just how much your dad loves you and his family, and we all pray that he will recuperate and be with you all for the Christmas Season. Your dad G.T., was the irascible optimist here at Major Geeks. G.T. showed many of us here, the true meaning of a Gentleman for even though he knew what he had, he kept up the fight with courage, dignity and his own sense of humour. We have, and continue, to wish and hope that your dad will win his battle, and we also have you and his entire family in our thoughts. Speedy recovery G.T., we miss you.

Well, this certainly not what I wanted to wake up and read this morning.

Abby and I add our hopes & prayers to those already here; Chesskin, thanks for letting G.T.'s many friends know what's going on, and let us know if there is anything we can do to help your family.

 

This is most worrying news. I had noticed that Gary hadn't posted much since he came back from his Thanksgiving trip. I now know why.

Gary, you know you have all of my heartfelt good thoughts and prayers with you, and hope to hear that you have recovered, and to see you here, soon. You one of life’s truly good guys.

Don't know what to say, words on a forum can sometimes seem far too inadequate, but please Gary know that there are people thinking and praying for him.

I also know at a time like this, an internet site will be the furthest thing from your mind but there are people here that care and please let us know how you and G.T. are doing.

Chesskin, we are very sorry to hear about GT being in the hospital. Our thoughts and prayers are always with him. He has been a very good friend to our family and has always shown the upmost kindness. We appreciate all the wisdom that he has passed along to us since we first me him. You let him know that Walt & Danielle (SixShooter & Amnesia) are thinking about him.

Thanks for all the response. I called Gary (aka Dad) last night and read him the gyst of most of your posts. I'll keep you all posted if there's any big things. For now, he's waiting on the results of getting poked and prodded last week.

Well at least he's in good care, both with the Doctors and the family. Let's hope that some good can come of all this. I know Gary will keep on fighting. Wish him well from us, and me partuculary, and we look forward to seeing him back with us soon.
