As always, it was a pleasure to speak with you the other night; hope you are feeling a little comfort today.

Left the mother ship to head home and all the Mission Managers were still in a meeting re: the ECO Sensor replacement decision. Should get notification sometime later tonight, but my trick knee tells me they will vote to replace the sensors, although the data is within tolerances, and move the launch date back to the July windows. I can't see the swap happening and still keeping the May launch date, but we shall see.

Hopefully, if there is indeed a couple of months of delay, you are still up to coming down here.

    I'll keep you posted. :)

And no Matacumbie, we haven't forgot about calling you :D

LOL. Suits are somewhat alike the world over. :D

Actually, that's a plus, as long as it helps avoid those last minute aborts. Seeing you guys would be grand regardless, but it would be disappointing to come down, with you eyeballs deep in pre-launch and little time to visit, and then have the launch postponed beyond when I could stay.

Won't get latest PSA test results back 'til Wed. or Thurs., and won't know for sure if I'll be doing chemo until then. But if so, May or July I'll be on it regardless. Just hoping the trip can be planned between rounds when I'm up to traveling.

    Yup, us too. :)

I dunno, work is getting rather frustrating lately; some people just can't see the forest for the trees when it comes to proper procedures, and we just don't have the luxury of time in the schedule. And don't forget, the workload is doubled because we have to get 2 ready to fly 1, in case of a road call ;)

Just put me out of my misery and get me over to the CEV program or SpaceX, wherever the funding ends up...these 25 year-old spaceships with the 6 month-old technology are getting way yonder too temperamental for me :D

We could probably find you a job with Nascar.

If it paid me 20 times what I make now, I'd still turn it down ;)

To update, no earlier than 1 July for launch. The window extends through 19 July, so let's see how things are for you around then. :)
