    Has anyone used this?

I downloaded it yesterday and ran a few simple tests like FPS comparisons on a few different games.
I kind of noticed a smoother delivery in Crysis but no change in FPS. That makes no sense to me because surely if it seems like it's running smoother then the FPS would go up.

I use crysis because it's the only game I have that drops under 30 FPS.

So I'm curious is anyone else has tried it and found setups etc for making noticable differences?

I guess it depends on what system you are running it on. You may have something newer and more capable of playing crysis, and using game booster wont help it. But for someone with a slower/older computer, it might help out alot. I downloaded it a while back, but i didn't try it out, only because I don't think it will change the way my games run.

Thats pretty much what I figured.

My specs are not real high but not low either.

    Asus M2n-VM HDMI
    AMD X2 6000+
    3GB Kingston 800mhz
    Sapphire HD4890 Vapor X 2gb

    Windows 7 Ultimate

seems plenty high enough. Take out 2gb of RAM and downgrade your vid card to an x series, and then run the program.:)

If you have a lot of apps running in the background it makes a big difference. I have been using it on my wife's computor for over a year and when she complains about how slow facebook etc is the first thing I ask is if she remembered to start it and she never has. Once she starts it her laptop does run faster. It is part of SystemCare suite which has a free version. It has a few neat functions which help your system run better. Check it out. I have been using the paid version for about a year and I like it. Hope this helps. 3's

@TSG... Hmmm, I just spent nearly a week getting this card to work, so I'm not chaging back now lol but point taken.

@Gramps..... I might just do that, I have a laptop that runs very slow even on a fresh install, it's suppose to have 512mb of ram but I'm pretty sure I'm not getting that.
Thanks for the tip. Never thought to use it for other apps than games.

Ok been looking into this Advanced System Care you mentioned, it says it has Spyware scanners etc. Now if I install this am I going to run into compatibility issues with Super Anti Spyware and Malware Bytes?

There is always a chance of incompatibility when you are using similar programs. MAKE SURE YOU DO A SYSTEM RESTORE before you install it. That way if it does cause problems it is a simple fix. Also check your other laptop's specs to see if it will run more ram. Memory is cheap now and makes a big difference. Another thing people completely forget about is heat.I learned a long time ago that you can almost double the speed your laptop is running at simply by using a laptop cooler with at least 2 fans. Hope this helps. 3's

Yeah my laptop does need new/more ram and yes it can handle plenty more, just low on the list of priorities right now.
I may make some form of cooler though, good idea that, I probably have enough bits to do that temporarily.

The only reason I asked about compatibility is because I like Super anti spyware and Malware bytes and don't want to trade them. I trust them and they've served me well.

it should play fine. the free versions of super anti spyware, and malware antibytes, is that they aren't always running, they are just on-demand scanners.

Super anti has live protection I think although I disable it. If it doesn't have live protection then it takes a lot of power just running it idle.
I prefer to have the cpu and ram usage than the protection, I can repair a threat, I can't recoup power lol

I'll give it a shot. Thanks guys.

oh yeah, you're right, super is freeware, and it's on. Says it's light on resources in the info page.

It's not too bad but it does use power and I like to reserve all the power I can get lol
I have Avast running and my firewall and I rarely get spyware so I just run it once a week to check.
On lower end machines it does slow them down quite a bit, especially on start up.
