I just bought some new parts for my computer and now im having some problems with different games.

    My setup looks like this:

    PSU - 550 Watt
    Intel P4 3.0 GHz
Asrock motherboard: 775Dual - 880 Pro -(Check it here!)
Asus EN7900 GT / TOP - (Check it here!)
A brand new 160 GB harddisk
    1 GB DDR

Im using Windows XP and i've installed the newest Nvidia driver and updated Directx 9.0 with the april updates.

(One thing i find strange is the motherboard has 1 slot 4 x PCI-E, but the card is a 16 x PCI-E. In the manual for the motherboard though it says that the 4 x PCI-E port supports 16 x PCI-E graphic cards. Could this be the reason for the problem below?)

Now my main problem is Everquest 2. I can run the game for about 2-4 minutes when suddenly shadows and other textures starts to flickker and do other kinds of wierd stuff and then the game kinda freezes. When i say kinda it means that the sound starts to flickker to but it continues and the game doesn't crash. Then after about 1 min. of freez the game can run back to normal only to do the same thing about 15 secs after.

I tried Star Wars Galaxies too which ran fine for 10 minutes when it suddenly look like dead pixels all over the game and it did the exact same thing.

Then i tried to run the new hitman demo which (well i didn't get the best FPS) i ran with full GFX settings on and nothing happend there. I played it for about 15 minutes.

I have tried to install the new beta drivers to see if it helped though the only difference with the new driver is that when the graphics starts to flicker i get a message telling me that the driver isn't running optimal.

I checked the GPU temp. with the new control pannel in the new driver and it wasn't over heated.

I then uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled the 84.21 drivers again but the same problem still accours.

    What can i do now?

Did your overclock anything on your machine?
If you did restore it back to default settings and see if that helps.

try older drivers as well for the video card. if you have another video card to test with or have a friend with one thats willing to help you out try it.

In the past when I had a game with white textures it was the video card drivers that caused it. SW: galaxies caused this to happen when I was a beta tester for Sony while using a GF4 Ti4600. Drivers solved the problem.

I had a look at the manual for you, and what I posted earlier is your problem.

The card you have installed is not compatible with a PCI Xpress x4 slot. It should have a PCI Xpress x16 slot, which your motherboard doesn't have.

Your options are to either get another motherboard, or get a video card listed on the supported cards list.
