Game Installer's Freezing up.

Alright so sometimes when I open a more Larger installation .exe, My Desktop will basically just freeze But I will still be able to control my Cursor Just won't be able to click on anything, Or If I open then exe inside of a Folder the folder will freeze and I won't be able to close it, Now the problem is when it freezes up my Desktop or a Folder I can't end the Process so I have to restart my PC, And try again.. Any Help?
