Game Wont install...

I insert the disk and nothing happens... .: | the setup menu wont show D; someone please help me.. :cry

 

when the disk is inserted go to my computer and right click on the drive the disk is in and chose explore from the drop down menu from there inside the disk look for setup.exe or autorun something of that nature.

 

So your computer doesn't recognize the disc at all when you insert it? What game?

 

Did you check your disk for fingerprints or scratches?
Also did you try cleaning your drive?

 

I had the same problem, turned out the game was supplied for a specific Windows XP laptop so it wont autorun in the same way on my new Vista machine! Annoying! There must be some sort of way to emulate XP though.

 

Yes, there is. Navigate to the disc in your file explorer, and find Autorun.exe. Right-click on the file choose Properties, and go to the Compatibility tab. Check the box, and select XP. If that doesn't work, do the same for setup.exe, then double-click to run it.
