    Love him or hate him, but he and the others at MSFT, did change the way we view and use computers, plus I have to respect the man, not in all for the work at MSFT, but for his charitable works through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, many other multimillionaires could take a leaf out of his book in this area.

    I agree with you, I never have understood all the hulla-baloo, if you don't like MS, don't use it, I think it has more to do with jealousy of success. I sometimes wonder if all the haters had his money, would they give as much back as Bill has?

    Ditto on their charitable efforts, as was said before the skin flints who are hoarding their 'wealth' would do well by taking the hint.

    He still remains Chairman of MS, but his charity foundation may yet prove to be as important to the people of the world as MS has been.

    Particularly if his $$$$$$$ grants lead to a effective cure against malaria, and other diseases, that take a terrible toll of children in third world countries, in particular.
