Gateway DX4200 need Win XP Drivers..I think.

Here's the deal:
Brand new PC purchased yesterday Gateway DX4200 with Vista. Tried to VPN into work today and found out they don't support Vista. I will loose my ability to work at home if I can't convert to XP. I have purchased XP Professional with Service Pack 3 today and will get it tomorrow.

My problem:
I went to the Gateway website and looked at drivers. Ok, I am not a computer wiz and I am completely lost as to what I need once I switch to XP, but I know if I don't get drivers for at least Video and Sound, I won't have any!

My Everest Report is attached. Can anyone please tell me what I need to do?

Nevermind. I broke down and bought another pc - a laptop loaded with XP so now I have 2 - one for home and one for work. What a pain.

 

I have the same problem this is a new Gateway DX 4200 with AMD Phenom AM2 +
We wanted to down grade the OS from Vista to XP and can not get the drivers... Problem is my Son formatted the drive including the recovery partition.... I figure I am not alone here.... Help is deeply appreciated
