So, I was wondering,

Do Geeks have pets(computers don't count!)

Right now I have a dog named Zsa-Zsa( or ZZ for short)
But I did have 5 dogs and 17 cats at on time

 

Well, here in CHicago my only pet is CindySnoopy

But at my parents house, in L.A., I had a dog named Frodo
and a turtle called Yertle

 

A turtle??????????

Did it fetch????

 

<shrug> He fetched his food quite well

6 dogs
6 cats
afew fishes lol
some talking birds (one says damn you bill gates and afew other things i will not say)

also does wildlife count? because i have alot of deer and other wildlife come around that i feed

Only one cat and I don't think I could handle any more than that. Besides, if I had any more pets, there wouldn't be any room left in the bed -- Laney already tries to take up as much room as my wife and I combined.

 

Where do I click to choose "None".

A few occasional spiders or other temporary critters, but I don't think those count.

 

Spiders count,, if ya feed them

 

I only feed them what they can catch... before I catch them.

 

I've been called a dog before...

Only got one cat. Would like to have one more, but the old missy doesn't tolerate other cats, and catfights aren't fun if they have them in your bed EVERY night for eternity...

I would have to disagree. There are times when cat fights in bed, are quite fun

I had a cockatiel. I hand raised him. I named him Spot. He passed away a little
over a year ago.

 

Two dogs and one cat.

 

Four cats which are rightfully mine...Dolly, Cindy, Tia and Screech
And 2 cats which just hang around during the day, and go home in the evening...Kitty Kitty and Tiger

 

Thats the bummer of pets
When I've lost one,I've always sworn never again,,,
Then the next one finds me,,,
And so the cycle continues,,,,
Till I'm nowhere to be found.


My condolences, Uncle Bob

 

We had a guinea pig that died just before Christmas. She got a cold and it became pneumonia. They're so susceptable to that. She was a great little piggy. Loved to just sit and cuddle on your lap. Would give a decent warning if she had to go potty too. And she was amazingly tolerant of the kids loving on her. Hoping to get another one sometime soon for the kids. I'd really love to get a long-haired guinea pig though, and they're hard to find. Not in too much of a hurry though. Too much other excitement going on right now.

Lol! thanks. Really, things are going pretty well here with Dad. He came home from the hospital today and is getting around pretty well. In fact, I just surprised him in the kitchen. He didn't realize that I was up, and he was walking around the house in his tshirt and nothing else! I wish I could say that he was drugged up enough to not be embarrassed, but unfortunately he wasn't. As far as everything else, I get the idea that it might be a day to day kind of thing. I'm a bit worried that he keeps coughing. Too much stuff inside his chest that shouldn't be jiggling around so much. We'll see what happens tomorrow...

In the meantime, I'm rather chipper
