OK whilst I have been down and out i've redone my profile.

With some nifty injection of ending tags and a full overlay i've effectivly written my own page.

still needs some more content, and theres a couple of minor issues with different browsers interpretting my CSS differently but let me know what you all think

Not much, but I play with it now and then... though I would advise to be very careful if you try to make a Zwinky...... more freaking spyware from them than i know what to do with.

tweaking the code is the best place to start, once you get a feelfor how the page works you can do what you want!

lol... a Zwinky is one of those crazy customizable avatars that you can make. THing is, I actually went to school for comp sci (read: Fortran etc) and used to crung pages from scratch in notepad. Walked away from it a long time ago when i realized that it wasn't for me, butstill like to flex the muscles now and then. thing is, the code is getting more and more complex every year, and i just don't have the time/energy to keep up wit it. That's why I just tweak or use Front page now

People said that about Dungeons and Dragons too, but in all honesty, you get out of something wht you put into it. If you go to a place like myspace and letit become your life, then you are not going to get a lot of good out of it. Personally, I use it as a tool to keep in touch with friends that I don't see as often as I might like. Like anything else, if you take it too seriously, it will suck you in and do bad things to you.

Just my thoughts.

I was home sick this last week, and my wife and sister talked me into setting up my own myspace page. I figured that since I do the designing on my wifes site and I do actually enjoy that part....what the hell!!
