Major Geeks to the rescue –
A dear friend wanted to transfer her cassette collection to her totally confusing Ipod Touch, despite being told to download her favourite music, she bought a gizmo that plays and records her cassettes on her PC on and of it took her about 5 weeks. I downloaded a utility for her the transfer them into MP3 format, 3 weeks later I helped her to get them onto her Ipod success she bought a docking station and happily listened to her music.
A week later as I did some house work on her PC, and, knowing she had all her music on the Ipod I deleted the music she had so painstakingly transferred from her cassettes, :cry:cry the screams could be heard 2 miles away, I struggled to find a way of getting them from the Ipod trawled the internet to no avail, then, as the title indicates MAJOR GEEKS home page rescued the situation with
Phonetrans She now speaks to me again

That's brilliant - where can I get one :-D

 

It's a custom mod I believe and I think it works.

I guess the reason there's not much demand is the simple fact you can download via torrent or Itunes every album an artist has ever made in about 5mins in perfect quality 320kbps.

Where as tapes take the full length of the album and the quality is abysmal.
