    Hello Major Geeks,
I had a virus on my computer. I was googling and I found a forum called "GeeksToGo". I followed their instructions, which included some file downloads and posting scan results. I'm not finished, but now I'm worried about the legitimacy of the forum. Do you know anything about them? Could I have infected my computer further? Here is a link to the thread it you need it. http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Fake-Alert-Trojan-Unable-to-Clean-t244529.html

    Hi and Welcome LS

GeekstoGo are a very legitimate forum and like Majorgeeks are one of a few that help users battle against malware, do let them continue to help you remove the malware.

Many of the members there are also like myself and some others here Microsoft MVPs which means that the powers that be at Microsoft recognise our devotion to helping others, especially in the security field.
