Geeky Webcomic

A Friend of mine just sent me a link to a webcomic called Binarycore, I had a look and it's a new comic but it's actually pretty funny so I figured I'd share!

I've been a fan of Freefall. The comic has been around since 3/30/98, and the writer is consistent (dare I say it, fanatical) about posting 3 times a week and the quality remains high.

It is a SciFi story about Sam (an adopted name), who is an alien squid in a human suit that stowed away to a young human colony that is uber stocked with sentient robots (the colony almost didn't make it). Sam's species has definite ideas about property, as in what is yours is mine (if I can steal it) and what's mine is mine, very early in the story he steals Florence, a prototype genetically engineered wolf who is intelligent and is a fantastic engineer, which is good for Sam because Sam has acquired through more or less legal means (probably less, but he has the title) a decrepit space ship.

Sam is detested by the human colony for his other world ethics (which doesn't bother him at all, he likes being famous), and as far as Sam knows he is the only one of his species to successfully left his planet.

The pace of the story is very slow, in a year of the strip less than a month passes, but it remains consistently funny, and if you are into SciFi a good story on its own merits.
