generic fakealert

    hey, i have mcafee but after downloading unfortunately what appears to be crap
    it keeps coming up with finding generic fakealert in my temporary internet files i also have downloaded search and destroy winalert and mozzila firefox if anybody can help please do and i will be forever great full *cheesy smile*

    at the moment i have search and destroy win alert and firefox running i was just trying to get rid of this before i go on holiday on Friday so...

    it keeps turning my auto updates off and stopping them coming on and bringing on a lot of well fake alerts and pop ups

    and if, like all the other threads on this i need to post logs i may need some help finding them as i have no idea at all...

    i think i have one of these but i know i have generic fake alert here is my hijack this logg which has been renamed to hijt.exe

    Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions. If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
