Hi,hope I'm posting this in the correct forum. In Zone alarm in the top right hand corner there are 2 grey symbols one is flashing and when I hold the cursor over it it says:"Generic Host Process for Win32 Listening to port(s)TCP:1025 (trusted zone only) when I hold the cursor over the one that isn't flashing it says:"Generic Host Process for Win32"
I don't know if this is normal or not but I'm worried about it.It would be great if anyone could tell me if this is ok or what to do if not.
    I am on Windows XP.
    Thanks
    Lain.

    Hi ya Lain.
ZoneAlarm is just letting you know that something is accessing the internet.
    It will flash when active.
If you have 2 internet apps active... let's say Internet Explorer and Outlook Express and one is actively using the internet...
The one that is will flash.
And in that case your probably just fine.

Whether it's a good or bad access can't be determined with ZoneAlarm though.

I would suggest you go to the "Malware Removal" section of this forum and post a hijack this log for review just in case.
