Generic Icons In Start Menu After Fresh Install

I just installed a fresh copy of Windows Seven and after several updates and installing/configuring of all my apps, I spent a little time moving some of my Star Menu shortcuts around. After I was done I noticed about seven-eight icons had reverted to the "generic" Windows file icon. I can usually get the icon back by going into Properties and just reselecting it and hitting "Apply" under the Customize menu.

However, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't an issue with any Windows system files that could be causing this. I already tried deleting/rebuilding the iconcache.db file but that didn't make a difference.

Could something else be corrupted in Windows?

    Thanks!
