Generic.Peed.Eml - What is it

I am in the midst of going through the 6 steps for malware removal.
I am currently on the Bitdefender online scan which seems like a VERY aggressive engine. So far, it seems to have found 121414 (NOT a typo) "Infected Files" and 15 "Identified Viruses".
The virus mostly found is "Generic.Peed.Eml", which from my Google search is ONLY found by BitDefender. Maybe that's a real good thing for BitDefender, or maybe that's a hell of a lot of false positives causing 121407 of my email files to be deleted (didn't know I had that many to begin with).

    So, What is "Generic.Peed.Eml"?

Why is only BitDefender finding it?

Where can I get more info about what it does like what registry changes it makes, what does it's payload look like, how is it spread, etc.?

Since this "Generic.Peed.Eml" issue only exists on the net in BitDefender Forums, how do we know this isn't a file format created by Thunderbird for reading Outlook email and not a virus at all?

    Thanks,
    Matt

It's showing that some of your e-mails in Thunderbird are infected, just delete the e-mails or let Bit Defender delete them.

As a reference I will post the initial instructions.
