    :crap

I don't know how it happened, but I've somehow lost every clipping that I had made for FireFox's Add-on "Clippings Manager 3.1.1". Is there any way that I can restore them from the .clipbak folder?

Retrieving them would save me a whole lot of work!

    Thanks!

    Hi Dr M

Couldnt install this addon to test this with as I'm running Minefield 3.7a5 but had a quick read of the FAQ and tech docs, and you should be able to using the Clipping Manager re-import them from the backup.

Just make a backup of the backup file as I would have liked to try this out first.

    Hi Dr M

Glad you managed to get them back, was the process a quick and simple one as it seemed from the FAQ? just curious in case I come across this again, must install basic Fx into a VM to play with it.

    ;)

Very easy, as the backups are located @ C:\Users\%useraccount\.clipbak (safely away from the FireFox folder); as easy as importing bookmark .htmls.
