Get Desktop Back After Trojan Removal

I am posting this because I racked my brain to fix this prob and this info is not out there but I figured it out.
To restore the desktop tab on display propertys:
Go to run / type in gpedit.msc / go to user configuration / administrative templates / desktop / active desktop / right click on enable desktop & disable desktop / change from not configured to proper settings…..if it still doesn’t work also change User Configuration / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Windows Explorer / right click classic shell and change to not configured…whalla


If your screen saver tab is also gone like mine was, go to:

Scroll down to #285 and on the right click on 'Restore all Display Tabs'
Run the file and click Ok on the confirm window...
