Finally and about time the issues of how to stay safe online and procect yourself is going to get more publicity, which it rightly deserves, we all know the techy community is upto speed on these issues but the general folk who want a home PC to do shopping and banking do not and its those who are getting caught out by the slimey creatures who pray on the unprocetected or worst still the ill informed... I'm still a great believer in the PC makers and stores who sell PC should also do more to help there customers.

But its good to see the UK Gov trying to bring this more to light rather than have the info only available to the ones who are in the know, sadly it wont lower the amount of work the Malware Fighters @ MGs have to do but its a start IMHO :)

It is a start Halo, and a very needed and welcomed one. Since the current Government have had their "computer in every home" campaign for over 3 years now, it makes sense, albeit a little late, to start educating people about the potential risks of owning a computer. Nice to see the bird-flu virus isn't the only virus government is worried about :p
