Win XP Pro software. I ran "Windows Registry Repair Pro" and removed over 300 errors. However, now a small window opens when I start WinXP. The window is entitled; "DXDLLREG.EXE" and contains the following message.

The procedure entry point getprocessflags could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.

Although this window does not stop WinXP from running, it does require my clicking on "OK" before the window goes away. I would like to fix whatever is causing this. But my knowledge barrier has been exceeded, THANKS!

First, the file dxdllreg.exe is an application which is supposed to request you register your version of DirectX, however sometimes it stays resident. I would try to reinstall DirectX and see if it comes back.

    Download DirectX 9.0c
