Getting A New Rig.

Currently I'm using a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro. It's been a good machine, but with subsequent upgrades to Windows 10, the 4 GB of RAM just doesn't cut it anymore.

I've been back and forth with my boss over it, and today he responded that I am getting a new rig. Apparently, we have an ultrabook in the office with i5 proc and 12 GB of RAM.

With that type of power, the Borg better beware when I login to STO.

I do not have an appropriate gif, emoji, or what have you to express my enthusiasm, so I will leave that up to the MG populace to come up with.

 

Sweet! I love how cheap RAM has become... 64 bit OS, SSD instead of the old hard drives, life is good. And fast too.

I'm using ASUS ZenBook 3. It has 16GB RAM. Monster speed and performance I tell.

 

My birthday present to myself arrived today: An ASUS F556U

8GB RAM, 256GB SSD for fast booting, and an i5-7200 to top it all off. Beautiful, and shiny. I've spent the entire evening gazing adoringly at my new friend while it runs Windows updates...
