I am needing to get the mac address of my comuter.
When I type ipconfig /all the box pops up to give me the address, but disappears too fast to see anything.
I've tried the pause key, and I'm too old and slow to catch it.
How do I go about getting the address?
Thanks so much for your help.

do it this way, start run cmd then hit ok. Then do the ipconfig/all, if your in the dos prompt when you do it, it will stay up :).

also if you ping a node on your network you can type in arp -a to get the arp table. it tells you the ip mac and type of addressing.

just another way to get the info you might be looking for
