Getting pop up box "Internet Explorer has stopped working"

I seem to be getting this more often, especially when watching You Tube technical videos. It's a pain because, the program completely closes. I usually don't have any other programs running. It's a AMD II processor and I recently upgraded the memory from 8GB to 12GB, the max is 16. Why am I getting this? What can I do to fix it? I run CC Cleaner weekly. IE 7. Thanks

 

What OS?
Using IE7 probably on XP or Vista I am assuming.

Try a basic Reset Internet Explorer.

Also check for bad add-ons.
Maybe update your Java/Adobe Flash?

Any reason why you are staying with IE?

Better option would be to use Chrome or Firefox rather than spend a bunch of time trying to "fix" IE.
