I'm using IE 6.0 and normally when I clear the history and delete cookies, it prevents websites from showing up when I type them.

    Hence, when I type http://www.m

    http://marvel.com comes up

I don't want this to happen, is there anyway of getting rid of these sites other than deleting cookies, temp internet files and history?

It has always worked in the past for me, but now it doesn't.

You can turn off Autocomplete which stores the web addresses you type, to do this in IE click Tools > Internet Options > Content tab > Autocomplete and untick Web Addresses and click OK > OK

you can also do this and clear in the process all your jumk and temps with CCleaner just add the cleaning routine into your normal security scans or just run it as a matter of course each time before you close down or finish with the internet.
