My mom called in a panic tonight. She can't print anything. Everytime she tries to print she gets an error message saying "error while spooling - "Unable to start the spool manager". She only had this problem after running Adaware and deleting what was found (of course at my advice).

She is running Windows 98 and has deleted and reinstalled the printer driver. Not really sure what to tell her to do next. My brother is coming over to help her tomorrow and I would like to give him some "geek wisdom" prior to tackling this. Any and all help is appreciated!

    Hi,

You may be better off posting this over in software in something like "Adaware messed up my printer" You may get more respones.

Anyway Adaware stores what it takes out in quarintine just restore the recent quarintine if you have not aready deleted it. This way you will know if Adaware caused the problem.
