GF just got a Celeron D 356 3.3ghz based system quick temp question

    whats the max safe temps for these things? i checked the bios and it was running around 60c and the cpu fan speed said around 800 which seems low but im guessing its system controlled or something to keep the noise down? By the way its a e-machines system

    well just found a fan control in bios it was under boot options weird.... anyways fan is running at 4620 now instead of 800 its alot louder but oh well...

    Even tho' it seems like you answered your own question: 60-65C is about max for CPU temps. Anything over 55 (IMHO) is too high, WAY too high. My CPU runs at 39 idle, and 43 at max load- nice-n-cool :D
