how does ghost work like if i go into a server and get it to gost something in to a lap top i start a new job that has to do with this

Basically mate,

You build the laptop a fresh how you want it so the build is bang on.
Then boot into the network version of Ghost and create an image.

Now you have your image you can boot off the LAN of any laptop that is the same make/model and use that fresh image on it -this way it saves you installing all your O/s and apps onto the same type of machine over and over again.

Used to use it here where I work but now we used some Windows Image Deploment which is alot faster and more stable.

 

So basicly load it into to the lap top from cd like if u are loading windows.

how do u clear a hard drive erase compleatly if a client wants u to do that i know is 1 and 0 but how is it done.
