My wireless Gigabyte card wont work now after about 3 years. It says the card is not found and it has a X cross on the icon in the tray now. The internet works fine and another computer with wireless can connect. There has been no changes to my winxp home system, pentium 2.0gHZ.

Is the card faulty now ?

Have you tried removing the card and re-seating it? Power OFF and disconnected
What does Device Manager say about it's driver?
