Pollution is bad, but we are not the cause of Global Warming.

You have to be joking. Humans contributed to Global warming from the instant Caveman lit their first fire. It is just that it is now almost out of control and almost irreversible, in every country in the World. Bazza

The main thing for me to remember about carbon dioxide is that the amount of it is measured in parts per million,pre 1750 it was 280ppm,now its 377 ppm so we have raised it by 100ppm,if we burn all the fossil fuels on the whole planet over the next century the most we can hope to raise it is to about 500ppm at about 2050 it will be hard to do anyway because our fossil fuels will be running out.

To put the amount of carbon dioxide in context in the whole atmosphere so we will raise the total amount of CO2 by 0.0001% from its current amount and I think thats totally worth it to preserve civilization,I'm all for the conservation of energy because I hate waste as long as people ain't too obsessed with it, but the amounts we are talking about don't warrant the amount of concern IMHO.

If you scale the numbers they currently use like the average temperature over a year will rise 5 degrees in the next few decades that means if a planet has an atmosphere of just 1% CO2 3000 time's more than we have at present the atmospheric temperature will rise thousands of degree's,cmon?

This is my current line of thinking on the subject,please if my math is bad which I think it probably is PLEASE correct me,I want to be wrong before I argue this point to any one else
