Go from FF 3.0.1 to 3.5.5?

    I know--I probably shouldn't have such an old version as 3.0.1. Frankly, I hestitate to update because I read about problems some users have whenever they do. But now I'm convinced that I should do just that. My question: Can I update straight to 3.5.5 (or whatever the latest version is) without going to each of the versions in between? When I go to Check for Updates, it says an update to 3.0.15 is available. Thanks

    Hi

    Yes you can, just install the latest version but always best to uninstal old version and then install new version, remember to backup your settings and bookmarks. (goto Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks and then Import Export to back them up)

    Thank you, Halo. You didn't mention backing up my Profile. Do you think that lengthy process is necessary? How do I back up my settings?

    Version 3.0.15 is for Windows and is the latest. Version 3.5.5 is for Linux so you can't use that.
