Go Ichiro!

Chasing an 84 year old record set by George Sisler in 1920, Ichiro just got another hit to bring his season total to 250. 8 more hits, and he breaks the record of 257. He's got 8 games after tonight to get it done.
Since my beloved Mariners have stunk it up all year, all I have left to root for is this.
Go Ichiro!!

I can't believe you people!! This record was finally broken, it stood longer than the homerun records, yet no one cares. Ichiro hit 262 baseballs this year, which is really hard, and broke the record set by Mr. Sisler in 1920 at 257. But, I"m at the library, checking in, saying hi, and making sure you people have your priorities in order!!

Baseball is my life since James is playing it right now in a Babe Ruth league in our area. I'm surprised Chaslang hasn't responded to this, being the baseball nut he is.
