Going to clooege. need wireless for my desktop. Heres the challenge

I have a compaq presario model 5245 with windows 98 FIRST ED as the os, 96mb ram, 100 mhz syncDRAM memory 2 old school usb ports (4 if you include the ones on my monitor) basically its a computer that a pharoah from egypt used. However its all i have.

is there a way to make this sucker wireless ready for an 802.11b/g wireless connection???????????????

This computer is already ethernet ready and can take cable internet and dsl no problem.... But i really need to kick it up because wireless is all they have

You should be able to just put in a pci wireless card!!!! Have you ever set up a wireless connection before? If not...there is some configuration involved!! but it still shouldn't be that big of a deal!!

is there any software required as well??? The thing is if software needs to be installed it needs to be compatible with the first edition of windows 98..
