I am watching the NASA channel on my cable tv. Is this the same thing?
I am on dial up so cannot get the live feed. Tried, but was taking forever to bring it up.

Hm. NASA TV's web coverage was running about 1 minute behind real time, and is still showing a picture of the bird on the pad, long after launch. ABC TV has better coverage of the actual launch.

 

Just had a quick call from Chris...lots of emotional, very happy people with tear filled eyes at the cape.

I couldn't see the launch from here this time...it's to darn hazy out..only saw a slight fuel trail.

 

I can only imagine the relief they must be feeling..

BREAKING NEWS!just checked the return to flight homepage,turns out scott bakula has hijacked the mission and is demanding a new series of Star Trek Enterprise,in which he will play every character. And his shirt must be ripped off at least twice an episode.

Watched the launch, then had to leave.

That was breathtaking. Know Chris and the rest at NASA must be euphoric.

 

Yeh,al's pissed because they forgot to bring a fresh box of cubans up to the station

Just watched the launch again on TV BBC 1,It shows a small square object flying away from rocket just after it reached space,no more than a couple of minutes into the flight,the BBC said NASA is aware of the object but as yet is not releasing a statement as to what it is,does anyone Know,I'm going checking the NASA site and the web now.
