http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/star17abby/Smilies/coffeedrink.gif I've had my early morning dose of caffeine, have a second load of laundry going and am continuing to tweak my laptop. Life is good!:cool

What's on your agenda for today?

I have some knitting I want to tackle along with getting my things together for my day at Mayo tomorrow. I have bunches and bunches of phone calls to make too...hopefully I'll get them all done without cussing out automated phone answering systems.:D

Other than that, I'm just trying to stay warm. It's not nearly as cold as it is back home in NY but it's cold enough for me to hibernate.;)

    Hope y'all have a great day! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/star17abby/Smilies/sun.gif

You certainly have your day mapped out...as for those phone calls...if you get some automated response, put your phone on speaker (if you have that option), and catch up on some knitting;)

Enjoy your day...hope it has you full of smiles.

    Cheers

    Mornin', all.:)...

Thurs evening here, on what was a very hot summers day, (41 deg.C). Shaping up for a 'cooler' 38deg.C (100 deg.f, approx), tomorrow. Trying to stay cool, while you're trying to stay warm, eh. Disposed of the washing too today, actually - lol! Phone diverted to answering service until I have time to actually respond to the calls. That's 'bout it for me.

Hope Mayo goes smoothly as usual. Guess spring is not too far away for you guys. Then you can start enjoying the beach again. ;)

Rather you than me Phantom ;)
    only 25 deg C (77 deg F) here today - (roughly 400 kilometres (250 miles) south of where Phantom lives) - quite a difference from 41 deg C (106 deg F)

As far as tomorrow goes; I am getting a nipple piercing in the morning, going clothes shopping and then attempting copious amounts of study for the rest of the day

    Business as usual :D

Oh my goodness, who is this person?? I haven't seen you in ages Abby! I hope that all is well with you and that Starman of yours (say hey to him for me please). I'm going to have to come by here more often so I can have my semi-daily dose of AbbySue. We really need to catch up sometime.

BTW - It's a balmy 13 F here in central Illinois, a veritable heat wave around here. All is good though (even though I have to repair a broken fuel line on my car today) as I'm looking forward to shooting my new bow sometime soon!

    Yours,
    Jack

    Thanks LS! Same to you!:)

Hey Barry...long time no chat...it's good to see you.:) Think we can somehow swap at least a tiny little bit of our weather temps? I figure if I give you half of mine and take half of yours we might both be a whole lot more comfortable!:D

*girlish squeals* Larry!!! How are you oh wise and noble Pooty Meister? And your lady love is well I take it? Gosh it's good to see you are still around. :):cool

    Been doing any fagging lately?

ACK! *grabs boobs in self-defense* Holy cow...are you NUTS? LMAO *runs away still covering chest* :D

Final comment: I'd stick with the shopping and studying!:major

Hey Jack! How are you and your family? Did everything work out ok with your daughter and the medical problems she was having? I sure do hope so.:)

Starman and I are good. He of course is still working to hard and I haven't really been up to much b/c of physical limitations I've been dealing with. Things are getting better though and I hope to be back to myself completely before to long..unless I do end up needing surgey...which Mayo and I agree is best to avoid if at all possible at this stage of the game. All in all, I'm not to worried about it as I can't praise Mayo enough for all they do, how much they care and their willingness to go above and beyond to find solutions to a problem without just cutting you open or giving you the run around like other Dr's I have dealt with here..re: "you're getting older so these things are to be expected..you just have to live with it"...yadda, yadda...ugh!

Seems you have a busy day today too...just try to stay warm *shivers at thought of 13f*

    Are you still in school?

Man how I've missed Good Morning threads with Abbysue!! How's it going? I'm doing a bit of laptop tweaking myself today.

I was going through some old files the other day and came across the recordings I did of the kids a few years back saying hi to everyone. I laughed to hear Drexel's little voice saying "Majorgeeks rules. Hi Abbysue!"

We're all doing well. Drexel is still dealing with some health issues. Prayers would be greatly appreciated. About a week and a half ago, he woke up and was having an anaphylactic reaction to something. We took him to the hospital and they admitted him for the night. He had to have 2 shots of epinephrine as well as the inhaled form before he stopped having difficulty breathing. At this point, we haven't identified the cause. He's going to be going in for allergy testing toward the end of March. It was a little exciting at the time, but things have been mostly uneventful besides that.

OMG! Cindy..it really is you? lol Gosh I've missed you and Eric. *hugs* Chris and I talk of you often and were wondering how you all were doing. Is Eric still traveling around playing with Crossroads?

I'm so sorry to hear Drexel is still having problems. How absolutely frightening his allergic reaction must have been! I've had a few reactions like that myself so I can sure sympathize with the whole situation...*shakes head* poor Drexel....

Prayers and positive thoughts coming your way as always.

Yanno...it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if you posted that recording of Drexel again...that was so unbelievable adorable!!!!!

:eek:Ohmylordinheaven... What a typo indeed! *eek* ROFLMAO At least YOU knew exactly what I was saying....sheesh....to be a blond....:D

    Hi there David!

    Face it ...you're a work-a-holic just like Chris! ;)

We were quite surprised to hear about the earthquake on the news. Scary stuff for sure. I don't know how people live with that kind of thing day to day....the thought of the ground shaking and quaking under me scares the bajeebers out of me.

Lev............................just let it fall pregnantly to the floor. Fag is a somewhat deleterious appelation for homosexual in the redneck southern states.
Being from Texas from day 1, it just tickled the hell outta me.
AbbySue is one of the sweetest girls I have known for a long time so she could get away with that, if she wanted to.
    lol.

Hence my confusion as it means "cigarette" in the UK. And I know...AbbySue is one of the most gentle, open-hearted women around - it was just the choice of phrase that tickled me too ;)

    Well, i'll continue this thread;)

Today is Friday and it means that only 4-5 hours remained to work. Definitely it gives me a strong moral boost!
Friday for me is a day of big plans for the weekends - this time I will leave the city for a while to stay in silence at my country house just to greet the spring! I hope the weather will be fine, 'cos I'm taking my camera with me. Hope to make a few successful shots of animals and birds! That's what I'll be thinking of till the time I go to sleep today...
We also have the election day this Sunday. All people will stay in Moscow, and I'm leaving. Not sure if I will come back in time go to the polls - in any case, Medvedev will win the election...
So, I hope that you all will have a pleasant Friday that is always followed by sweet week-ends!:wave

    HI T

I know.. we are both going to run ourselves into the ground soon if we do not stop and chillout, but passion for the work is just too much to stop, more so for Chris as I woudl be doing the same working where he does.

Yeah on earthquake, but the UK news made it out as usual to be the end of the world calling it violent, they really need to goto places like Japan to see what earthquakes are really like. I just woke up feeling some sharking, actually thought a plane had crashed or WW3 but once it stopped I just went back to sleep, was too tired to have the bajeebers scared out of me ;)

Hope the mayo visit went well and chat later

    David
