Good morning, boys and girls! I brought you some of that icky coffee stuff, sit down, have a chat, wake up with friends.

Sorry I've been quiet as of late, but quite frankly I've been busy and you've been boring. I mean... seriously... Can we talk about interresting things like we used to? I get so bored in here these days. I miss the riveting discussions from days of yore...

Anyway, today is my first day of work. Training 9-5 to be help desk support for quick tax software. It sounds exceptionally boring, but it will look fantabulous on my resume and pay the bills.

Then my baby brother turns 2, officially making me want to pull the non existant emergency brake on time. I mean, Kay is 4 already, and HUGE, and he's walking and talking, and I have grey hairs, and it's all just incredibly depressing. Anyone else ever feel that way?

Grey hairs and finding the brake.... There is no brake dear, it's a steadily accelerating downhill run from here on out. Although grey hairs are easily correctable.

 

Just remember to use the mute button and you should do fine.

God, Orientation SUCKED and the trainer must either think I'm hot or have 3 heads because there were 25 people in the room, but I think i was the only one he saw... scary.

they switched the hours, now it's 9-6 and kays daycare closes ar 5:30. I need someone to help me and have noone to ask and I have no idea what to do

 

just tell them, at the start of the day, you have to leave early.......the daycare of your daughter stops at 5:30..........if you guys hadn’t changed the hours, it wouldn't have happened...........they will give you the info, or bring you in for the missed training............but, since this is a new job, to you, be honest with them, they might understand..............wobbles
