Seriously considering ditching my coffee cup for a spoon and a bowl of freshly ground coffee beans

Still cold and blustery here....hopefully the last of the this noreaster will leave us today. Stopped off at the beach yesterday...BRRRRR....surf was wild and crazy...the birds were huddled on the sand with their heads down and wings drawn in tight...poor things..I think if they had tried to fly they woulda crashed. There were of course rip-tide warnings issued..not surprising...what I still find surprising is the surfers who still venture into the water when it's like it was yesterday...crazy..just crazy...I always wonder if they will be the next surfer to be carried away and how many coast guard personnel will risk their lives trying to rescue them.

 

Mukluks eh? Quite simple..because after I did my standard shoe check I put them on ME!

Vaporized? I don't think so! More like inhaled! LOL I'll 'try' to remember.

 

Damn it's morning already I blinked and missed the night part

 

I think I did too...I know Chris did.

I actually got about 6 hours sleep I think but don't feel like I ever went to bed..I hate when I feel like that.

Hmm, worked to 11:30 p.m., local time yesterday. Got to bed at 3:30 a.m. Up by 5:30. Just finished work at nearly 9:00p.m. Yep, pretty normal 'day' for me. I don't know whether it's morning or night anymore.

All I can say is these five words. "Where's the coffee at?

Mondays are so long, I wish it was Friday!

 

Morning. Working on the floors today oh joy. Nothing but FOG here all week, in the 30's at night if we get lucky 50's during the day. My parents have low 80s this week.

Almost left my truck at the dump yesterday, but then I would had to walk all the way home lol. I can't wait till taxes get done I need a new (used) truck aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

More coffee please

 

I got a cup of hot Starbucks Verona that our friend Bethany got me for Christmas, and it tastes great. Kolya is quietly watching Blue's Clues, and CIndy is trying to get a few extra minutes of sleep before Drexel gets up.
Cindy's not feeling well, but I have a meeting to go to, so she needs to hang on for a few hours, then I can come home and take over and she can get some much needed rest.
This is gonna be a busy week, with followup for Kolya. Cindy has her own Doctor's appointment on Wednesday, and we have other stuff going on as well, so it's gonna be interesting. But, we're all doing good!
Ah, more coffee all around!

 

Sipping first coffee right now; I feel the corpuscles starting to wake up.

20 degrees F here, going up all the way to 30 today. Pretty cool for Memphis; feels like home.

 

If you would just tell that girl you yak at all the time to go away and let you get your work done ..... You could hit the sheets at a descent hour.

 

Nah! I was like that long ago. Working 24/7 has always been my businees hours.

Many customers aren't available until late at night. Since I can't sleep much, anyway, it kills two birds with one stone, so to speak.

 

Oh sure, great excuse. Face it, she keeps you from your work. You really gotta stop being so nice to her. Not only that, she's bossy too.


Up for coffee later? Same spot around the same time.

I can't have caffeine any more, unless I want to deal with the worst heartburn known to mankind. Today wasn't so bad, since it's Monday, and my one day off. Tomorrow, however...gotta be out the door by 6am to drive 150 miles north to work 12-14 hours to drive 150 miles back home. With no coffee.

I may risk the heartburn, and damn the meds that "won't work properly" if I take antacids.

She did it again to you. I just finished my morning coffee and I am sure your working away trying to get caught up. Just tell her to bug off. Heck, she should be in bed at that time of the night anyway.

 

Well, she should try and sleep a bit more, imo.

Well Phantom, I figure two more hours and you should be finished your first cup of coffee. Hope you pop in and read this thread, cuz seeing it's a good morning thread, I bid you a good morning.





BTW, coffee at the same time, same location. I will call it an early night though.

 

Coffee. I can still taste the coffee from last night. Damned work. Oh yeah, did I ever tell you I HATE FLASH!?!???!?

Wake me up in 7 hours...and make sure the coffee pot is full and hot

 

Yeah, I seen you. I"ve been up a fair while, though. It's gone 9:00a.m., local time.

Now for the extra-strong coffee.
