    Here's your revival G.T.;):D

*hands out fresh coffee for all fellow coffee-addicts* mmmm.....have finished my customary pot of java...just got done with my breakfast and I'm thoroughly enjoying the fact that today means 'beach day' is only 3 days away! YEAH!

I have the usual laundry to do today along with some more back ups so I can reformat my puter...just love starting fresh every once in a while.:) Have quite a few phone calls to make ( Halo...I know..I know...today I promise! )...I hate making phone calls....interupts my peace and quiet...lol May go for a walk later...forecast is for a high of 87 today with the usual Florida possibility of some rain this afternoon. And...I think star and I will be going grocery shopping tonight...maybe not though, he may be totally wiped out when he gets home from work...poor guy didn't sleep again last night.:(

So what's on your agenda for today?

Revival? Like a bit tent with a screaming preacher up front?

Coffee that early doesn't help, as I'm still asleep. But I'm actually just having my first cup NOW, as we were out of coffee filters here at work. I guess I should have gotten up early and taken advantage of your kind offer. New telephone system still isn't debugged, so it's been crazy again today.

Still answering calls to Emergency dispatch are we? :p

Mmm, coffeee.... I could do with a coffee. And a biscuit. Its nice out. I'm sitting in the garden with my cats, who are merily prancing around in the grass. I did an emergency stop in my driving lesson today, dudey said it was "absolutley perfect" :)

Alright Ken...you HAD to go ahead and say 'meatloaf' didn't ya?;) When we get moved to a place where we can have a grill y'all are gonna have to eat your words about MY meatloaf that star has never had yet!:p I just can't bring myself to cook it any other way but on the grill..it's so good that now having it any other way just doesn't do it for me. Oh..and good mor....errrr...Afternoon!:)

Afternoon Boom! Another one of those peeps who lives in the wrong time zone...Ya gotta live on the 'right' coast to be in the 'right' time zone...sheesh..;):D

Afternoon McA! What is up with your title? I thought you had a new one? Glad your exams seemed easy...that's usually a good indicator of how you did.:)

Ahh....Mr. Pewty...the empty nest syndrome...it's great for the first night or two...then it seems like everything echos:( LOL What kind of a dig are your daughters going on? Oh Yeah! And BTW!! What's this about you bonding with Star?;) hhmmmmm?????

Come on Blusey...that's the best you got?;) Hope you're feeling better...figure you must be to some extent if you managed tacos and tequila eh?;):D

GT...no, no, no!...for YOUR revival I lined up a dancing do-do bird to serve you coffee...you mean to tell me you missed it? And then got ALL the way to work and no coffee filters? Oh man! I'm so sorry...I think fishy might have at least gotten some pics though...

first let me chug the way cold coffee from this morning as it's now shortly after noon here.

my agenda includes getting my kids registered for school next year as they are switching schools.
and calling my cable company to cuss them out about cable problems.
I always cuss more when I have to use a phone for anything.
other than that. good morning MG

first off, ANY coffee is appreciated, I'm a coffee junkee, growing up in Seattle it's in the genes I guess.

and the phone thing.. OMG, I do everything online, if I can't and have to use a phone I put it off as long as I can and then hate every second of it. lol
I have 3 little girls my oldest is 8 going on 21 she LOVES the phone(definately not from my side of the family) a 4 almost 5 year old starting kindergarden next year and a 3 year old who is going to make me bawl like a baby when she leaves me to go to school too.

Yeah, it is. TOTAL VOIP. The phones piggyback on the LAN lines, no phone lines at all. When I got to work Monday, my puter couldn't even log onto the network.

    You may be beyond help...lol
I think it's almost a genetic thing I grew up smelling it all the time, seeing it and drinking it. I bought my first bean grinder before I bought dishes.
first step though is the scent. spend time in coffee shops or at the homes of coffee addicts.
second step is to immerse yourself in coffee culture. just as tea has thousands of varieties and ways to make it, so does coffee.
most tea drinkers tend to underestimate the types and varieties of coffee there really are.
and.. if you never do grow to love coffee.
    My most profound condolences...lol

I feel your pain GT.... we are not on VOIP yet but I dont want it, going by the 6 weeks I have waited for a dedicated server and software to be installed and running... wooo nearly their I today have login page!!! crashes the database once I login tho.

any ideas when you will have phone communtications restored?

McA - Do what softcell says. Especially the sitting in coffee shops. Great places to sit and think. That and start programming profesionally. Even if you hate coffee, you won't be able to survive without it :p Or you'll go straight to caffiene pills, which is a bit of a big step if you ask me, but if you're in the middle of a job and the coffee maker is too far, pop one and get someone else to put a pot on :D

My name is Chris, and I am a caffiene addict. ;)

Probably when Hell freezes over. The more I learn about this POS, the surer I am that it's not capable of handling things the way they HAVE to be handled here. Whoever decided to buy it did NOT do his homework first.

I'm rapidly losing my normally sunny disposition, and we're rapidly driving our customers away.

eric's quite busy these days, he works at penneys, at the junk place and he also helps us clean a bowling alley a few nighta a week. Thats a lot of calories he'sburning up!
and the fact that I hardly cook anymore lol
I give him a lot of credit tho cause at first he starting taking these pills that have ephedera in it ( it's illegal here) he dropped a lot of weight. When I found out that these pills were no good I made him stop taking them.
Now, almost 2 months later, he's learned to cut down on the junk food, drinks a lot less soda ( which packs on the weight as we know) and happy to say, he hasn't gained any of the weight back!
I'm very proud that he's sticking to it as we know it can be easy to lose weight. the hard part is keeping it off!

*GASP* I've been sitting here for at least 45 minutes waiting for you to share this coffee you put on and still nothing! Halo...I'm shocked that you would withhold such a vital thing from me:( *THUD* ;)

Suppose to be another beautiful day here...currently 74 with a high of 94 expected..along with the usual 'possible' rain for this afternoon. Waiting for it to get light out...I can hear the birds are starting to get active outside the window...should see the usual group of snowy egrets around 10am for their morning snack in the marsh....haven't seen any sea otters make their way up the channel in a while but I keep watching for them....maybe today will be the day:)

Also got word that my mom may be released from the hospital next week...I think she will do much better being back home...the Dr.'s are hopeful this move will reduce the stress she is feeling...if all goes as planned I'll be flying to NY next week to help out for a bit so keep your fingers crossed:)

    Have a great day everyone!:):)
