Google Chrome and Blue Screen, any connection?

So, when I was downloading a torrent, Google Chrome bugged up, and stopped working. I tried absolutely everything you can think of to get it working again, and eventually, I got the blue screen of death somehow. so i reformated my windows 7 to factory settings. Google Chrome still doesnt work, and the blue screen activated twice since. seems to be gone at the moment...but I don't trust it at all. i run windows 7, and linux dual operating systems but that shouldnt have any affect. other than that everything else is fine. any solutions to fix the whole thing?

 

What is the error code on the blue screen?

 

how do i check that, theres a file to look at recent blue screens right?

so it appears as if i fixed google chrome, however the blue screen IS still there, i used your program, and it says drivers ntoskrnl.exe and pshed.dll are messed up, can i just delete these?

 

The ntoskrnl.exe is the core of the Windows kernel, delete it (probably impossible) and you have no Windows. It's highly unlikely that it caused these errors anyway, it's just where the errors were picked up,

Back into BlueScreenView and set the lower panel to list all drivers loaded then click on the date column to sort them by oldest first. Any that are older than May-July of last year will need to be updated - it's quite possible that a driver has become corrupt and been replaced by an older one.

Make sure all hardware drivers are fully updated and uninstall any software that isn't vital while you troubleshoot this problem.
